Wonderful place to play golf. Played with two local snowbird ladies. They said it is ok to come back but don't bring any friends. So thats it... fun place

I have been coming to Jekyll Island for a number of years and the course is in the best condition it has been in at least 5 years. Fairways are superb and while the greens are somewhat slower than I am used to they roll true, probably 8 on the stimpmeter. I got my tee times via golfnow so the price was very reasonable.

Course was in reasonable shape. Pace of play was great. Fairways were good but the greens were a little patchy. Very short but the sand and layout helped make it somewhat of a challenge. I thought it was too expensive for what you got in return.

Jekyll is great. The pro and staff are less than perfect but it is a good place once you tee off. Play it now before they ruin the island with a bunch of shops and tourist traps.

Probably a reflection on this island's economy. Island needs revitalization. Not nearly the course of 15 years ago.
